The newest component of my system is a membership ranking of coaches form.  The system fires off an email to each participating member of the league and provides them a link to rank their head coach and any assistant coaches.

The questions are designed to give us league administrators some insight into the coach’s strengths and weaknesses.  However, just one respondent isn’t enough.  I’ve had teams where everyone loved me but one parent, and you would expect that one parent to be the one (and possibly only one) to fill out the survey about how bad I was!  So in and of itself the coach ranking may not tell the whole story, however, if you have multiple parents giving the coach low marks and you notice either requests to not play on that team or players not returning… Then quite possibly you have a coach who just isn’t cut out for a recreational youth sports program!
