After identifying a coach, clicking on his or her name will bring up the coach registration form.  I’m logged in as a read-write user so I see the additional options of Save Record or Remove Coach.  The coach registration form will show you all contact information about the coach, any credentials tracked by the league, active teams they are assigned to, and then finally the coaches prior teams and ranks.

Coach ranking is something new I tried this past fall.  I had some hesitations as to whether or not to do it, but I had received a report of an incident (from a non-return player survey) that happened three years ago on a division 7 team that made it a priority.  Basically, on my watch as I was a commissioner of the 4/5 year olds, we had a coach who screamed, belittled, and demoralized an entire team of 4/5 year olds.  Nothing was ever said to the league administration.  Not wanting to jump the gun on one report, I also looked at the number of players from that team who did not return in the following year (another benefit of a registration system).  Ultimately in 3 years time, 9 out of the 10 kids on that team had dropped from the soccer program.  The only remaining child was that coach’s son.   Well, needless to say, he is flagged not to coach.  Fortunately though, the majority of the respondents of this past fall coaches survey were very positive, as shown below.  Although, we did have some “too competitive” for the age and “yells alot” which will have to be dealt with.
